Your Teachers Will Thrive
Survive and Thrive was created out of a need. Your training team has over a hundred years of classroom, coaching, and administrator experience. Over the years, these experienced educators noticed that while colleges prepared students to pass exams to become certified teachers, colleges did little to prepare future educators for the reality of teaching in a public-school setting.
Beyond using a large bank of research to develop Survive and Thrive, your trainers pulled from their broad knowledge base that encompasses experience in a variety of grades and roles. When you finish you will be more confident, more organized, and more prepared to face the challenging, but extremely rewarding career of a public-school teacher. You will know more about how students learn and how to manage your room to lessen your stress and increase student achievement. You will also know more about the new challenges facing our students as family dynamics rapidly change in all communities. However, more importantly, you will be connected with a group of long-time, enthusiastic educators that care deeply about students and are extremely proud of their profession. This pride is why this training was developed. We want you to be successful and make teaching your only career.
